The Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick

In receiving the sacrament, seriously or chronically ill persons can unite their own anguish with the suffering, death and Resurrection of Jesus. Anointing offers a way for God’s love, through the community, to touch us in a special way in time of need.   The sacrament of Anointing of the Sick is available upon request. For more information, please contact the parish office at 425-3940.

Pastoral Care Ministry

This ministry reaches out to members of our parish who are confined to homes, hospitals, and nursing homes with love, compassion and support in an effort to keep them connected to the parish community.  These connections are made with bringing them Holy Communion, prayer blankets, social visits, and sending notes of encouragement.  We welcome anyone who would like to join us in this special ministry, and would also like to know if anyone in the parish might benefit from this ministry.  Please contact Laura Graven at 425-3940 x 169.

Prayer Chain

Those connected with this ministry work with a team who in turn pray for intentions that are passed on to them.  Dave Paulin heads up this ministry and can be contacted at 502.339.9268.
