Picnic

Each summer the members of our parish host a fundraising picnic for the benefit of the parish. Hundreds of volunteers lend a hand in this two-day event featuring games, raffles, hole-in-one contest, food and beverages. Contact Larry Brunner at 425-3940, Ext. 102.

Capital Prize Tickets are in the Gathering Space of Church!

Capital Prize tickets are now available for pick-up in the Gathering

Space of Church! Sold and Unsold tickets can be returned through

the collection basket at mass, dropped off in the parish office or

brought to the Capital Prize  Booth at the Picnic.

Do you want a chance to win $10,000.00? We have begun selling our Split the Pot tickets. They are $100.00

Booth Captains

Booth Captains are still needed for the Picnic. Without Booth Captains, we are unable to run all of our

game booths. As a booth captain you are asked to be at the picnic to run your booth on Friday or Saturday

and manage your booth workers. Many captains recruit friends and family to work the booths and have a

fun night. The picnic committee will also assist the captains with finding workers if you need help.

Cake Booth Info
It is never too early to start planning what desserts you are going to bake for the cake booth this year!

We are blessed to always receive so many yummy homemade treats. Looking forward to seeing

what you make this year! If you would rather donate money that goes towards much needed cakes,

Viking Dash 5K

You can now register to run or walk in the Viking Dash 5K. The race is held during Family Night which will be Thursday,

Cornhole Tournament @ Family Night

Picnic Set-Up and Tear Down

Thank you to those who have stepped up to help with set up and tear down. We still need a few more volunteers to assemble the booths the Sunday before the picnic and then tear them down and put them away Saturday night of the picnic starting at 10:30 p.m. You need to plan to be available until 2:00 a.m. as the parking lot and grounds need to be clean before Sunday morning mass.

Stuffed Jars

Once again we will have our popular Stuffed Jars booth at the picnic. Your continued generosity makes this a great booth. Simply fill a jar or plastic container with something fun. You can use candy, small toys, hair supplies, golf tees, bouncy balls… be creative!!! Jars can be dropped off in the church office anytime from now until the picnic.

 
 
 

Booth Sponsors 

We are accepting sponsors again this year for our booths.  

If you are looking for a way to support our parish & help make the summer picnic a continued success, perhaps sponsoring one of the many fun booths is a way you can contribute.  Your family or business can make a tax deductible donation, and at the same time support OUR parish.  You decide what level of sponsorship works for you…

 

  • $150.00 Patron Level – Your family/business name will be displayed on one of the picnic booths for all to see!
  • $300.00 Silver Level – Your family/business name and logo will be prominently displayed on an individual banner along the Hole in One golf course as well as advertised on a banner by the beer booth/stage!
  • $500.00 Special Event Sponsor – Your family/business can sponsor one of our Special Events (the Band, the Bouncers, Gambling Tent, Golf Cart Transports, etc.) each displaying a customized banner!
