Adult Confirmation

CONFIRMATION FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

At St. Albert, youth are generally prepared to celebrate Confirmation in the 8th grade. Candidates for the sacrament engage in a process of study, prayer, and service, which invites them to explore the life and message of Jesus and the teachings of the Catholic Church and what it means for them to live as young disciples. ADULT CONFIRMATION (NON-CATHOLIC)

Non-Catholic adults are prepared for confirmation through a process called the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). This process invites participants to pray, examine Catholic beliefs, and to begin to experience Gods love through the Catholic community. The process moves through several stages and culminates with the participant celebrating full communion with the Church at Easter.

ADULT CONFIRMATION (CATHOLIC)

Catholic adults who have not celebrated confirmation are prepared through a six week regional process offered each Spring and Fall. For more information, please contact Dawn Della Bella at 423-1590 x 108.
