CHILDREN’S LITURGY OF THE WORD
This program is generally intended for children ages 5-8 (K-2nd grade). The children begin Mass in the sanctuary with their family and are dismissed before the first reading to Visitation Hall and return during the Preparation of Gifts. This structured program is a wonderful introduction for children and prepares them to participate in Mass as they experience stories, songs, and lessons that coordinate with that week’s liturgy. This program is offered at the 10:30 AM Mass from mid-September to mid-May, with the exception for school/holiday break weekends and monthly during the summer.
If you are interested in volunteering to lead or assistant in this program, please contact Cindy McKinley at firstname.lastname@example.org or 502-425-3940, ext. 105.
NURSERY AND PARENT CHAPEL
St. Albert the Great offers to the families of the parish a well-staffed Nursery every Sunday during the 10:30am and 6:03pm Masses for Infants – Age 5.
In Summer 2019 the parish established a permanent Nursery Room in the Sacred Heart Center (located across from Visitation Hall) where the children of the parish can be cared for in an enriching environment. We are always looking for volunteers to supplement our Nursery Team. Please contact Cindy McKinley to learn more.
Our Parent Chapel: Our Parent Chapel (Cry Room) is located in the rear right corner of the Gathering Space (1st door on the left) and is available for use during all services.
The Church is open daily for private prayer.
